Bean, Christopher Lee
(born: 1919 - died: 1960) His parents unknown, Lee Bean is found in the 1910 Anderson County, KY Census as an 18-year old man working as a hotel waiter and living as a boarder in the Lucy Johnson home.He served during World War I as a Private First Class in Company C of the 317th Infantry, U.S. Army and is found in a list of soldiers from that war compiled by Wyatt Shely, an Anderson County historian.
Bean had been inducted into the Army at Lawrenceburg on April 30, 1918 and was discharged in Louisville at Camp Zachary Taylor July 2, 1919. He died May 28, 1960 and is buried in the Woodlawn Hills Cemetery in Anderson County.
A copy of his discharge is on file at the Anderson County Courthouse in Lawrenceburg.
