Bean, Willie C.

Bean served during World War I as a corporal in Battery B, 70th Field Artillery, U.S. Army. He enlisted September 9, 1918 and was discharged February 8, 1919.

The 70th Battery was mustered into service at Camp Taylor and later transferred to Camp Knox for artillery training. A copy of Bean's  discharge is on file at the Anderson County Courthouse in Lawrenceburg.
