In 1943, Flora Maxwell was still living in Louisville, KY when she enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH, according to her record in the National Archives, Access to Archival Databases. After completing her military service she returned to Louisville. On August 26, 1950 Flora married James A. Anderson in Indiana. The couple resided in Louisville where Flora Anderson was employed as a practical nurse.
Flora M. Maxwell Anderson died in Louisville in 1994 and is buried in Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery.
