Frances D. Paige had enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH, according to her record in the National Archives, Access to Archival Databases. In 1944, Frances D. Paige and her brother were home on furlough. Two years later and not too long after her military service, Frances Paige married Leslie B. Rout. The couple lived in Chicago where Frances died in 1956. Her funeral services were held in Lexington, and she is buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
