Christina Dudley Harris was married when she enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH, according to her file in the National Archives, Access to Archival Databases. Christina Dudley was born in Lexington, KY, the daughter of Pauline Johnson and Daniel Dudley. The family is enumerated in the 1920 U.S. Census. 1n 1931, Christina Dudley was listed in the city directory as a domestic employee. Her father Daniel Dudley died in 1934. 

In the 1940 U.S. Census, Christina Dudley was married to William Harris, a groom in the horse racing industry; the couple lived with Christina's mother in Lexington. In 1943, Christina enlisted in the Army. After her military service, she returned to Lexington. In 1951, Christina and William Harris filed for divorce, but the divorce may not have been finalized: in William's 1958 death notice, Christina Harris is listed as his wife. 

In 1960 there was a family dispute concerning the sale of property owned by Pauline Dudley to Charlie Rosenberg. Christina Harris and her mother Pauline Dudley moved from Lexington to Philadelphia, PA the day after the sale. Pauline died in Philadelphia on March 27, 1961. Christina Dudley moved to Michigan, and her last address was in Detroit where she died in 1988.
