Tommie Lorene Jones was born in Barbourville, KY, the daughter of Tully Drake and William Jones. She enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH, according to her record in the National Archives, Access to Archival Databases.
Jones returned to Kentucky after her military service. In 1947, she and Arthur Peak were living in Pineville, KY when they got married in Middlesboro, KY in 1947. Tommie Jones later married again; her name was Tommie Lorene Jones Peak Moore when she died in Middlesboro. She is buried in the Glasscock Cemetery in Barbourville.
