Thomas, Regena Lynn

(born: 1957) 

Regena L. Thomas was born in Clinton, KY. She became the New Jersey Secretary of State in 2002 and served until 2006. She was the first recipient of the Chairman's Award that honors a Democratic National Committee (DNC) staff person who has made an exceptional contribution to the Democratic party. In Kentucky, Thomas had served as a legislative analyst on the Legislative Research Commission. In 2014, Regena L. Thomas was named director of community engagement by the Democratic National Committee, and she continued as the senior adviser of the political department. For more see "Regina L.
