Report: Negro School Districts and Their Needs by L. N. Taylor

In 1938, L. N. Taylor was supervisor of Negro Rural Education. The department was in the Division of Negro Education within the Kentucky Department of Education. Taylor prepared a report that ranked the Kentucky cities and counties with the largest Negro school census. Below is a table with the schools, and the ranks and needs of the schools, taken from pp.1-2 of the report. For more see the report titled "Negro school districts and their needs by L. N.
