Burton, Thomas W.

(born: 1860  -  died: 1930) 

Born near Tates Creek (Madison County), KY, to slave parents, Burton was the youngest of 15 children. He attended Berea College and later received his medical degree in Indiana in 1892. He and Dr. H. R. Hawkins established the Ohio Mutual Medical Association. For more see Ohio Authors and Their Books.
