St. Julien, Marlon

(born: 1972) 

Born in Louisiana, St. Julien was the first African American jockey to ride in the Kentucky Derby since 1921: he rode Curule in 2000 and finished 7th. For more see Jet, 05/22/00, vol. 97, issue 24, p. 51.
