Robinson, Melford J. "M.J."
(born: c. 1927 - died: 2004)Robinson, appointed in 1970 to the Lynch Independent School Board, was the board's first African American member. He was pastor of the Greater Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Lynch and the St. James Baptist Church in Louisville, KY as well as a number of other churches around the country.
