Cunningham, Terry R.
(born: 1955)Terry R. Cunningham served as president of the Maysville (KY) Branch of the NAACP; he had helped re-charter the organization in 2004 to the Maysville-Mason County NAACP. In 2009, he helped bring the Kentucky NCAAP Convention to Maysville.
Cunningham also led in the city's revival of the Maysville Human Rights Commission and served as the first African American elected to the Maysville Board of Education and the first to serve as president. In 2010 he was inducted into the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights Hall of Fame.
In 2005, the Kentucky NCAAP chose Cunningham to represent the state at the first National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Leadership 500 Summit [source: K.
