Summers, Jane Roberta Whatley Fluker

(born: May 5, 1895  -  died: June 29, 1992) 

Jane Summers was the first woman to manage Jacob Price public housing in Covington, KY. She also assisted in organizing Meals on Wheels in Covington. Summers became a paralegal at the age of 77 to assist senior citizens with simple legal problems.

Jane Summers was born in Colirene, AL, the daughter of Calvin and Minerva Whatley. She died in Covington, KY and is buried in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
