Webb, William

William Webb was said to be from Kentucky. He was a jockey and a horse trainer. In 1894, Webb opened a horse training stable in Lee, Massachusetts. He had been a trainer for John Develin at the Gross race track. Horses at Webb's stable included Little Bob owned by Charles Morgan, a 3-year-old colt owned by J. H. Daley, a 3-year-old owned by a Mr. Hickey of Stockbridge, and a horse owned by H. Wookey of Lenox.
