Washington, Lewis

(born: 1888 or 1890  -  died: 1974) 

Lewis Washington was born November 20, 1888 or 1890. A mulatto, he was married to Mary Miller, with whom he lived in the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Sarah Miller.

Washington is found on a list of Anderson County men who served during World War I as a private in the U.S. Army. He died July 1, 1974 and buried at Woodlawn Hills Cemetery.
