McKee, Edgar

(born: 1892  -  died: 1963) McKee was born January 8, 1892 in Anderson County and is listed on the 1900 Anderson County Census as the son of Christopher Columbus and Sarah McKee.

He served as a corporal during World War I in Company B of the 801st Pioneer Infantry of the U.S. Army. He is found on a list of soldiers from that war compiled by Mr. Wyatt  Shely, Anderson County historian.

McKee died November 12, 1963 and is buried at Woodlawn Hills Cemetery in Anderson County.
