Harris, John

(born: 1896  -  died: 1947) 

Harris was born September 14, 1896 in Illinois  but lived his later life in Anderson County. He died October 17, 1947.

John Harris was a soldier who eventually attained the rank of captain during World War II, and after the war he remained in the service as an officer in a Field Artillery unit. He is buried at Woodlawn Hills Cemetery.
