Alma Smith Jacobs (1916-1997)

She was the Great Falls Public library director, 1954-1973 (MT). She was the first African American State Librarian for Montana. She was the first African American to become president of the Montana Library Association, and president of the Pacific Northwest Library Association. She was the first African American on the Executive Board of the American Library Association.
