Colored News Items and Colored News (Franklin Newspaper)
(start date: 1950 - end date: 1952)On September 14, 1950, The Franklin Favorite newspaper printed the "Colored News Items" column. The column ran until the end of November 1950, then reappeared in October of 1951 with the title "Colored News." The column was titled "Colored Notes" in an October 1951 and a November 1951 issue of the newspaper. The column continued until the end of January 1952.
