Our Colored Department and Colored Notes (Owensboro Newspaper)

From May 18, 1890 - October 5, 1890, The Sunday Inquirer printed the column titled "Our Colored Department."

"The Inquirer will hereafter set apart a column of its Sunday edition to the colored people, to be edited by one of their number, with the hope that it may prove of benefit to them." -- May 18, 1890, p.6.

On October 9, 1942, was printed "Colored Notes" on p.9 of The Owensboro Inquirer. The column had a brief paragrah that was repeaed the following day.
