Colored People’s Column (Georgetown Newspaper)
(start date: 1889 - end date: 1891) The first few columns were titled "Among the Colored People" before being renamed the "Colored People's Column." The column ran for about 2 years from 1889 -1891 in the weekly Georgetown Times and appeared in almost every issue in that time-period and covered the news of the African American community in Scott County.
