Dianne Louise Butts was born in Bowling Green, KY. Her video oral history interview with Earl Willis at the Warren County Library is available online at the Library of Congress. Dianne joined the Army in 1975, three years before the Women's Army Corps (WAC) was disbanded and the Army became one unit with both men and women. After her military career, she was an elementary education teacher.
