Dianne Louise Butts was born in Bowling Green, KY. Her video oral history interview with Earl Willis at the Warren County Library is available online at the Library of Congress. Dianne L. Butts joined the Army in 1975, this was three years before the Women's Army Corps (WAC) was disbanded and the Army became one unit with both men and women. After her military career, Dianne L. Butts was an elementary education teacher.
