Olivia Wallace was married to John Wallace; the couple were separated when Olivia enlisted in the Army in 1944, according to her record in the National Archives, Access to Archival Databases. Olivia was born in Mississippi and had been living in Louisville, KY since at least 1935, according to the 1940 U.S. Census. John Wallace was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. In 1936, Olivia and John Wallace were listed on p. 1824 in the Louisville city directory. Olivia enlisted in the military in Cincinnati, OH in 1944. After her military service she lived in California and later died in Los Angeles in 1978.
