Beulah D. Sims was living in Tennessee when she enlisted in the Army, according to her record in Ancestry. Her name was spelled "Beaulah C. Sims" when she enlisted in Nashville; he was living in Chattanooga at the time.
Beulah Sims was employed as a maid before and after her time in the military. After her discharge, she settled in Knoxville, TN, where she died in 1962. Beulah D. Sims Saffell is buried in the Knoxville National Cemetery. She was born in McRoberts, KY, the daughter of Virginia Roberts and Percy Sims, and she was the wife of Frank Edward Saffell.
