June Cleotta Ingram was born in Brandon (Lyon County), KY, the daughter of Eliza Young and Robert Ingram. The family of 9 is enumerated in the 1930 U.S. Census. June C. Ingram was working as a stock clerk in Xenia, OH, when she enlisted in the Army in Cleveland, OH, according to her enlistment record in Ancestry. After her military service, June C. Ingram was once again living in Xenia, OH. In 1947, she returned to her employment at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. She had worked at the base prior to joining the WACs. In 1975, she was a supply clerk in the requisition sub-unit of the base supply branch. Ingram was recognized with the February Worker of the Month Award at Wright-Patterson.
