Alma C. Fischer was born in Harrison County, KY, the daughter of Beatrice Fischer. Alma was living in Chicago, IL when she enlisted in the Army in Fort Sheridan, IL, according to her enlistment record in Ancestry. She was employed is some aspect of the medical field.

After her military service, she lived in Toledo, OH; she died in Oregon, OH in 1980 and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo (source: Alma C. Fishcer in Find A Grave).
