Dorothy C. Davis was born in Kentucky. She was married and living in Ohio when she enlisted in the Army in Cincinnati, OH. She did her basic training at Ft. Des Moines, IA, then went on to Bowman Field in Kentucky. See "Dorothy C. Davis ...," Coshocton Tribune, 3/28/1945, p. 5.
