Thalethia B. Routt is the first African American to be an Associate General Counsel for the University of Kentucky since January 2006. The Office of Legal Counsel provides legal services to the University of Kentucky and its affiliated corporations. The General Counsel and the Principal Deputy General Counsel have responsibility for issues involving the Board of Trustees, the President and his office, all constitutional issues, all litigation, legislation, the NCAA and SEC, Open Records.
