McCoy, Wayne Anthony

(born: 1941  -  died: 2000) 

Wayne A. McCoy was a national expert on government bonds. A lawyer in Chicago, he was the personal attorney of former NBA player Michael Jordan. He was a partner in the law firm of Schiff, Hardin, and Waite; McCoy was one of the first African Americans to become a partner in a major law firm in Chicago. Wayne A. McCoy was born in Louisville, KY, the son of Herbert B. and Martha Nuckolls McCoy. He was a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Michigan Law School. For more, see T.
