Crittenden, Breckenridge
(born: March 4, 1883 - died: October 11, 1948)Born in Midway, KY, Breckenridge Crittenden attended Cincinnati College of Embalming (now the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science) in 1914 before becoming a funeral director in Lexington, KY for nine years. In 1926, he left Kentucky to become a funeral director in Cincinnati, OH. Crittenden maintained ownership of his two homes in Lexington, one on West Seventh Street and one on Lincoln Avenue. He was also general manager of the Imperial Finance Co.
Breckenridge Crittenden was the son of Laura and Harry Crittenden, and the husband of Ella Banks Crittenden. He died in Cincinnati, OH, and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington, KY.
