Fifth Street Baptist Church (Louisville, KY)
The Fifth Street Baptist Church was founded in 1815, known at that time as the First Baptist African Mission. In 1842 the congregation separated from the First Baptist Church of Louisville, forming the Colored Baptist Church of Louisville.
It is one of the oldest African American churches in the city and one of the oldest among African American Baptist churches.
