Baker, Charles Edward

(born: July 15, 1916  -  died: May 22, 1998) 

Charles E. Baker, born in Millersburg, KY, was the first African American member of the Millersburg City Council, elected in 1975 and re-elected in 1977. A veteran of World War II, he served from 1942-1945. Charles E Baker died in 1998. He was the son of Will and Mamie Tucker Baker.
