Anderson, Carl Lewis
(born: July 17, 1931 - died: December 15, 1981)Carl L. Anderson became the first African American member of the Bardstown, KY City Council in 1975, winning a second term in 1977, a third in 1979, and a fourth in 1981. He lived in Bardstown with his wife Henrietta King Lewis. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served from 1955-1957. He was born in Boston, MA.
