Harrison, James Henry "Jimmy"
(born: 1900 - died: 1931)Harrison was born in Louisville, KY. He left Kentucky when a teen and later played semi-pro baseball before becoming a musician and a singer. A trombonist, he had his own trio in 1919 and played with a number of other bands: Charlie Johnson, Sam Wooding, the Kentucky Jazz Band (Detroit), and Billy Fowler, to name a few.
