Walker, Ray
(born: 1910)Ray Walker was born near Springfield, KY, the son of trainer Joseph Walker and Eliza Walker. The family of 7 is listed in the 1920 U.S. Census. Ray Walker opened his own stable at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia. He was the first African American to develop show horses in the Philadelphia area.
