Floyd, Martha
(born: 1824 - died: February 18, 1929) Martha Floyd was a cook for U.S. President Abraham Lincoln and Confederate States President Jefferson Davis. Martha Floyd was an enslaved woman; it is not known if she was free when she was a cook for Lincoln and Davis. Floyd was born in Lexington, KY and lived near Owensboro, according to her death notice.
