Martin's first name is either Hallie or Hollie; she was born in Kentucky. Her name was written as Hollie B. Martin in the Army enlistment record in Ancestry. She was married and living in Dayton, OH when she enlisted in Cincinnati. Her basic training took place at Ft. Des Moines, IA. In the newspaper, her name was written as Hallie B. Martin. She had been employed by the Air Service Command at Patterson-Wright Air Force Base.
