(start date: 1911) In 1911, there was a library established in Scott's M. E. Church in Maysville, KY. R. F. Broadus had placed the notice in the newspaper and was over the library. The library was being prepared to open to the public. Source: Daily Public Ledger, 03/02/1911, p.4.
