Foree, Jack C.

(born: 1935  -  died: 2010) 

Jack C. Foree was born in New Castle, KY, the son of Etta and Jesse Foree. He attended a segregated two-room grade school in New Castle and received his high school diploma from Lincoln Institute. He was also a graduate of Kentucky State University, Spalding University, and Indiana University.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Foree was a math teacher and administrator in the Jefferson County (KY) School System and president of Grace Bible College, Inc., located in Louisville, KY. He was also the president of Sky Brite of Louisville, Inc., a janitorial service he founded in 1970.

Foree died May 18, 2010 in Louisville. He is buried in the  Middletown (KY) Historic Cemetery.
