Hughes, Sammy T.
(born: 1910 - died: 1981)Born in Louisville, KY, Sammy T. Hughes was a second baseman in the Negro Leagues, touted as "the best of the best." He began his career with the Louisville White Sox in 1930. He was voted a Negro League All-Star more than any other second baseman.
