Sandusky, Annie L.

(born: 1900  -  died: 1976) 

Born in Louisville, KY, Annie Sandusky was a pioneer in social work. She moved to Illinois and became casework supervisor of the Cook County Bureau of Public Welfare. She also became a probation officer for Cook County and the Social Services Consultant for the Illinois Public Aid Commission.

In 1954 Sandusky became the consultant to the Children's Bureau of the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare in Washington, D.C. She  published many articles and reports on child welfare.
