Anna M. Lindsey Wolfe was one of the first four African American students to take library classes (at home) from the University of Kentucky Extension Program in 1952. She served as the last librarian of the Mero Street Library (for African Americans) in Frankfort, KY. She was also a school principal. Anna Wolfe was the mother of George C. Wolfe.
