May-Miller, Zephra(born: 1943 - died: 2004)
Born in Indianapolis, IN, Zephra May-Miller was known as the "Bag Lady of Louisville." She used weaving techniques to create artwork and clothing made from plastic bags. Her works, which include hats, dresses, and sculptures, have been exhibited at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, the Runako Gallery, and many other locations.
