Gunner, Byron(born: 1858 - died: )
Byron Gunner, a minister, was husband to Cicely S. Gunner and the father of Francis Gunner Van Dunk, who was born in Lexington, KY. Rev. Gunner was born in Alabama and lived in New York. He issued a call in the Cleveland Advocate (08/12/1916) to all African Americans for the formation of a National Race Congress. He had also addressed the American Missionary Association in 1891 on men of color in the Southern pulpit. Gunner was a pastor in Lexington, KY around 1895.
