Ringo, William

William Ringo was a horse rider in Babylon, NY, according to the 1880 U.S. Federal Census. Ringo was born in Kentucky around 1862. He is mentioned in the Long Island Forum, 1995, p. 28, as a rider at Belmont's Nursery in North Babylon. There is an 8 year old Willie Ringo listed in the 1870 U.S. Federal Census whose family lived in Georgetown, KY.
