Thomas, Jay V., Sr.
(born: 1930 - died: 2003)Jay V. Thomas was the first African American photographer on the staff of the Louisville, KY newspaper, the Courier-Journal. He was also a photographer for the Louisville Defender. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and is buried in the Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon, KY. For more see Rev. L.
